Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Are Married

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth quietly got married on Sunday night.

After days of speculation, Cyrus confirmed the news in a series of photos posted to her Instagram account on Wednesday. The caption read, “10 years later…,” and the three pictures showed Cyrus in a white gown and Hemsworth in a traditional tux wearing a wedding band.

Photos and videos first circulated after the weekend when the couple’s friend, Conrad Jack Carr, posted to his Instagram Story what looked to be the newlyweds celebrating with guests at their Nashville home. “Mr. and Mrs.” balloons served as the decor and the pair were celebrating with champagne, cake and cupcakes.

Hemsworth’s brothers, Chris and Luke, as well as Cyrus’ family — siblings Noah and Brandi, and parents Tish and Billy Ray — were all in attendance, as TMZ first reported.

Cyrus and the Australian actor have dated on-and-off since first meeting on the set of Nicholas Sparks’ The Last Song in 2009. Hemsworth proposed in 2012, but the pair ended their engagement one year later. They then reunited in 2015.

The pair were among the California residents to lose their home in the Woolsey wildfire that blazed through Southern California last month. When speaking about the devastation, the “Wrecking Ball” singer called Hemsworth her “survival partner,” saying she has never loved him more for saving their animals (seven dogs, four horses, two pigs and three cats) from the fires while she was away from home. Cyrus revealed that she was in South Africa filming an upcoming Black Mirror episode.

“My partner, I call him my survival partner now,” she recently told Howard Stern of the Hunger Games star. “He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that it is. That is why you pair up with someone, for survival.”

The pair kept their engagement private the second time around.
