Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again – Press Conference – Cher, Lily James, Amanda Seyfried

There was something in the air that night – when the greatest ABBA songs gave Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and an all star cast the greatest movie musical of all time – Mamma Mia!

Here We Go Again is the ABBA-inspired sequel complete with Dancing Queens and Kings aplenty including Amanda Seyfried, Dominic Cooper, Lily James, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgard, Jeremy Irvine, Julie Walters, Celia Imrie and Cher!

Joining the cast for two UK press conferences for Mamma Mia 2 were Andy Garcia, Hugh Skinner, Christine Baranski, Jessica Keenan Wynn and Alexa Davis. The story is by Richard Curtis, it was written and directed by Ol Parker, based on Judy Craymer and Catherine Johnson’s original musical and, of course the music of Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad of ABBA.

In this sequel to Mamma Mia!, Sophie learns about her mother’s past while pregnant herself. Discover Donna’s (Meryl Streep, Lily James) young life, experiencing the fun she had with the three possible dads of Sophie (Amanda Seyfried). Sophie is now pregnant. Like Donna, she’ll be a young mother, and she realizes that she’ll need to take risks like her mother did.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is released in the UK on the 20th of July.
