Rachel Weisz has confirmed she won’t have any more children with husband Daniel Craig, three months after they welcomed their first child together.
The British actress – already a parent to 12-year old son Henry with ex Darren Aronofsky – gave birth to a daughter with James Bond star Craig, 50, in late August, but at the age of 48 feels she is past the point of planning for a third child.
Reflecting on the decision to have a second child well into middle-age, she added: ‘But doing it again now I’m older is very deep and very precious. I am very lucky.’
Rachel first shared the news of her pregnancy in an interview with the New York Times in August, telling the publication: ‘Daniel and I are so happy. We’re going to have a little human. We can’t wait to meet him or her. It’s all such a mystery.’
Rachel and Daniel are quite private about their child, but last month she told Stephen Colbert their daughter looks like her husband.
When asked if Rachel and Daniel would raise their child as American or British, the actress joked, “Just human. I’m really into humans. Just from planet Earth.”
