Brie Larson Proves She Can Do Super Hero Acts Thanks to Her Captain Marvel Training
Stars of superhero movies often have to get whipped into shape for their roles, and Brie Larson was no different, revealing some of her training for Captain Marvel.
The 29-year-old actress stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, with her appearance airing on Friday, February 1, where she revealed that she was actually able to push a Jeep uphill thanks to her training.
‘I trained for nine months and then I was able to do crazy things,’ Larson said. ‘Like I could deadlift 225 pounds by the end of it.

Later on in the program, Larson got to show off some of her dance moves in a segment with DJ tWitch called, Can tWitch and Brie Dance To What’s Behind Them? where they both had to copy the dance moves from music videos.
For each move they replicate, Shutterfly donated $1,000 to the Captain Marvel Challenge.
Larson and tWitch danced to Madonna’s Vogue, a hula dance, a dance from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Britney Spears’ Oops I Did It Again, N’Sync’s Bye Bye Bye and more.
