ABC has announced fall premiere dates for its Wednesday night comedy lineup, including “The Goldbergs,” “The Conners,” “black-ish” and “American Housewife.”
“The Goldbergs” will kick off the network’s scripted premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 21 with two back-to-back episodes, followed by the return of “The Conners” and “black-ish.” “American Housewife,” led by Katy Mixon, will return the following week on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
“We couldn’t be more excited to spread some much-needed joy with our Wednesday night comedy lineup,” said Karey Burke, president, ABC Entertainment. “While we had to be incredibly flexible this year, we are so lucky that we’re able to continue our long tradition of making Wednesday night comedy a strong staple of our fall broadcast schedule.”
The network previously announced premiere dates for its unscripted slate of series, including “The Bachelorette” and the rebooted “Supermarket Sweep.” Premiere dates for ABC’s fall drama series, including “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Good Doctor,” “Stumptown” and “The Rookie,” have not yet been announced.
