Will Forte and Lana Condor have joined the cast of the Warner Animation Group comedy “Coyote vs. Acme.” John Cena is set to star in the long-gestating project, which will be a hybrid of live-action and CG animation.
After Acme products fail him one too many times in his dogged pursuit of the Roadrunner, Wile E. Coyote hires a billboard lawyer (Forte) to sue the ACME Corporation. The case pits Wile E. and his lawyer against the latter’s intimidating former boss (Cena), but a growing friendship between man and cartoon stokes their determination to win.

Dave Green (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”) will direct from a screenplay by Samy Burch. “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “The Suicide Squad” filmmaker James Gunn will produce alongside Chris DeFaria.
