While Margot Robbie is busy generating Oscar buzz with her new movie I, Tonya, the real Tonya Harding will revisit the scandal that made her infamous in a new ABC special called Truth and Lies: The Tonya Harding Story. In a trailer for the two-hour special, Tonya repeats many of the same sentiments that she’s shared in other documentaries like ESPN’s 30 for 30: The Price of Gold. “Nobody ever wanted to believe me,” she says. “I’m always the bad person and I never understood that.”

But when asked if she knew about the attack on Nancy Kerrigan — which she has long claimed not to know about — she replied, “I knew that something was up.” Tonya then says she never told her ex-husband Jeff Gillooly to go ahead with anything, but says she did “overhear” discussion about something to do with the plan. “I did however overhear them talking about stuff where, ‘Well maybe we should take somebody out so we can make sure she gets on the team,'” she says in the trailer. “I go, ‘What the hell are you talking about?'” Truth and Lies: The Tonya Harding Story airs Jan. 11 on ABC at 9 p.m.
