One good turn deserves another.
Ten months after Donnie Wahlberg left an obscenely generous $2,020 tip at an Illinois restaurant, “Blue Bloods” star Tom Selleck repeated the feat at a New York eatery.
“I am honoring my friend Donnie Wahlberg’s ‘tip challenge’ with my sincere hope for a better 2020,” wrote the 75-year-old star who plays cop patriarch Frank Reagan on the long-running CBS series.
Selleck placed the tip at a Manhattan restaurant called Elio’s, and Wahlberg couldn’t have been prouder.
“I found out that my TV dad Tom Selleck has generously accepted the (2020 Tip Challenge) at Elios Upper East Side!” tweeted the 51-year-old Wahlberg, who plays NYPD Det. Danny Regan. “Love ya, Dad. I didn’t start it but I’m proud to be part of it. To those who gave even the smallest extra amount this year — THANK YOU.”
