Grunge fashion and Nintendo weren’t the only great things to come out of the 90s. The pre-millennial decade produced some of our favorite movies, with cult classics like The Big Lebowski and Boogie Nights, as well as landmark films like Toy Story and Titanic.
It was a great time to be at the movie theater, but it’s also a great decade to revisit by streaming some A+ movies.

1. Toy Story

When Pixar made the first 100% computer-animated movie, they knew it had to be great. The result was Toy Story, one of the best family movies – scratch that – one of the best movies of all time.
Toy Story centers on Woody (Tom Hanks), a cowboy doll who proudly calls himself the favorite toy of Andy (John Morris). The story picks up when Andy gets an arrogant new toy, Buzz Lightyear, who doesn’t realize he’s not an actual spaceman.

2. The Matrix
20 years ago, Keanu Reeves asked if humans are really just stuck in a simulation, and neither stoners nor actual philosophers have come up with an answer.
But until someone does figure it out, all we can do is enjoy this 90s sci-fi classic over and over again.

3. Clueless
Everything is perfect in Cher’s world: she lives in a Beverly Hills mansion, she’s the most popular girl in school, and she’s the apple of her father’s eye.
That all changes when her ex-stepbrother Josh moves in, and she’s rebuffed by her crush Christian. Is Cher’s life as perfect as it seems or is she, well, clueless?
This cult coming-of-age classic stars Alicia Silverstone as the main character who still managed to make audiences fall in love with her, no matter how cloudy her judgement or how clueless she really was.

4. Titanic
Everyone should see Titanic at least once. It’s one of the most referenced pieces of pop culture ever – and for good reason. The 1997 classic features stellar performances from Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, a Celine Dion soundtrack, and one of the best love stories to date.
