Comedy queen Aidy Bryant has officially tied the knot! Following a secretive year-and-a-half-long engagement, the I Feel Pretty star married her longtime boyfriend, Conner O’Malley, in Brooklyn this weekend. The actress confirmed the news on Instagram with a beautiful recessional photo taken by Sasithon Photography of The Wedding Artists Co. The Saturday Night Live regular kept her announcement brief—she accompanied the image with a single heart emoji.
Bryant and O’Malley tied the knot at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg in what looks like a gorgeous ceremony designed by Jove Meyer. The wedding planner revealed that their vows were, naturally, hilarious. “Congrats lovebirds, so fun working with you both on your wedding! Never laughed so hard in my life!!!” he wrote, sharing the same photo on his own Instagram account. The lovely bride wore a short lace wedding dress with romantic long sleeves and carried a lush pink-themed bouquet by Saipua. Her florals perfectly matched her statement Prada sandals. As for her glam? Bryant enlisted the help of hairstylist Joseph Maine to achieve loose, natural waves for the casual, intimate fête.
Bryant’s wedding day came exactly one year after she announced her engagement (which came six months after it happened!) on Late Night with Seth Meyers in April 2017. O’Malley’s proposal story was quirky and comical—it even involved their pup! In October 2016, the comedian came home to find her dog wearing a bow tie. “I was like, ‘My dog doesn’t wear a bowtie! Where is he going tonight?’ Basically, the second I shut the door, a man—who I discovered was Conner—frantically came around the corner and was just like, ‘Will you marry me?’ No box. No ‘I love you,'” Bryant said. “Just a man in full terror standing very far from a dog in a bow tie, just holding a lose ring going, ‘Will you marry me?!'”
