Lauren Boebert Kicked Out Of ‘Beetlejuice’ Musical After Allegedly “Causing A Disturbance”

Rep. Lauren Boebert was reportedly kicked out of a performance of the Broadway touring version of Beetlejuice, according to the Denver Post.

The Post cites an incident report it obtained in which representatives of the Buell Theater in Downtown Denver say a group of people was asked to leave after vaping, singing, recording and “causing a disturbance” during the performance. The report does not name Boebert.

The Post later confirmed with Boebert’s campaign that she was, indeed, escorted out of the theater, but took issue with the nature of the behavior described. Boebert herself took to X/Twitter this afternoon and confirmed that she had missed the end of the show.

“Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends!” the U.S. Representative wrote with a laughing/crying emoji.

Boebert represents Colorado in the House, but her district does not include Denver.

The incident report said multiple patrons complained about the group, which received a warning at intermission. Five minutes after the show resumed security officials received “another complaint about the patrons being loud.” They were also, apparently, taking videos and/or photos, which is not permitted.

The report cites an usher, who said the group refused to leave.
