HBO’s ‘Succession’ Season 3 Casts Adrien Brody

Succession” Season 3 has added Adrien Brody to its cast.

Brody is the latest addition to the cast of the third season of the hit HBO series, with Alexander Skarsgård having been announced as a new addition on Monday. The main cast of the show currently includes Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, Peter Friedman, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Rob Yang, and more.

Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall (Strong) at the end of Season 2, Logan Roy (Cox) begins Season 3 in a perilous position. Scrambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances, tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.

Brody will guest star as Josh Aaronson, a billionaire activist investor who becomes pivotal in the battle for the ownership of Waystar.

“Succession” is now the second HBO project Brody has booked recently. He is also set to play NBA coach Pat Riley in the premium cabler’s upcoming drama series about the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1980s.

Brody won the Academy Award for best actor for his starring role in “The Pianist.” He will be seen in Wes Anderson’s new film, “The French Dispatch,” Netflix’s “Blonde,” and the TV series “Chapelwaite” for Epix. He recently co-wrote, scored, produced, and starred in the action film “Clean.” He is recently wrapped on an untitled murder mystery for Searchlight alongside Saoirse Ronan and Sam Rockwell. His other feature credits include “Predators,” “King Kong,” “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” and “Midnight in Paris.”
