Well, Disney just couldn’t let it go.
The first trailer for “Frozen 2” dropped Tuesday and it has fans going wild in the comments section of YouTube.
The manic montage of wave-surfing, a bucking reindeer stampede and mountain-climbing — set to a thunderous, “Thor”-like score — left some fans confused.
“I feel like I just watched the trailers for Avengers,” one naysayer griped, while another summed up the “dark” action scenes with a cryptic, “Seriously Disney?”
Other armchair critics were just relieved that the CGI effects aren’t as bad as those on display in the new trailer for the live-action remake of “Aladdin.”
Not much has been revealed about the second installment in the blockbuster franchise beyond the basic plot: Elsa the Snow Queen, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf embark on an adventure to learn the truth about the mystery of the kingdom of Arendelle.”
But diehard fans can rest assured that the Academy Award-winning directorial duo, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, are back at the helm — and the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad are returning. Plus: Evan Rachel Wood (“Westworld”) and Sterling K. Brown (“This is Us”) are adding their voices to the wintry mix.
“Frozen 2” is set to open in US theaters on Nov. 22.
