Dean McDermott was so concerned about wife Tori Spelling that he called the police.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Page Six on Thursday that McDermott called the department to check on Spelling’s well-being. Deputies met Spelling in Thousand Oaks, Calif., and briefly interviewed her.
Cops determined she was fine and no further action was taken.
The welfare check comes about a week after police responded to a disturbance call at the couple’s house, which LAPD told Page Six was over a domestic dispute.
Spelling was described as a “female” with “possible mental illness” in dispatch audio obtained by The Blast.
The former “90210” star, who welcomed her fifth child with McDermott last March, has suffered numerous financial setbacks in the last year.
In November 2017, Spelling was ordered to appear in court over an unpaid $220,000 judgment she owed to City National Bank, which sued the couple for failing to pay back a $188,000 loan.
