10 contestants went toe to toe Wednesday night during the two-night “America’s Got Talent” finale, but only one of them could walk away with the $1 million prize and the chance to headline their own show in Las Vegas.

And the winner is: Magician Shin Lim!

The 26-year-old self-taught magician born in Canada and based in Massachusetts pulled a victory out of his hat thanks to his skill with sleight of hand magic and close-up illusions. In the finale, he worked a particularly dazzling series of card tricks for host Tyra Banks.

“Thank you so much, everyone. I love you all so much,” said Lim as the credits rolled.

Lim narrowly edged out the Götzis, Austria-based dance troupe Zurcaroh, who showed plenty of class by embracing him after host Tyra Banks named him champion.

It was a hard-fought win, especially considering the mind-blowing performance by Zurcaroh earlier in the night. We won’t ruin it by trying to describe it, but you can watch it for yourself and seriously, be amazed.
