Joe Perry is on the mend.

The Aerosmith rocker gave his fans a health update on Tuesday, tweeting that he was “doing well” after collapsing at a Billy Joel concert on Saturday.

“Doing well, thanks for all the love and support!” he wrote.

Perry, 68, was rushed to the hospital after his Madison Square Garden performance because he reportedly started gasping for air in his dressing room. He was carted away on a stretcher, and paramedics inserted a tracheal tube down his throat to help him breathe.

A rep for the musician told Rolling Stone that Perry was in stable condition Sunday afternoon.

“This morning, Perry remains in the hospital, where he is alert and responsive,” the rep said. “Perry is expected to return to the road later this month.”
