Los Angeles Landmarks Transform Into Polling Locations for Election Day

A number of Los Angeles landmarks have been turned into polling locations. From major sports stadiums to one iconic Hollywood members-only club, voters have unique options to cast their 2020 ballot.

Staples Center and Dodgers stadium are both polling locations. According to reports from the ground, there were no lines to vote in the early morning hours at Dodgers Stadium, but plenty of entertainment for those who came down.

Staples Center was much the same way, not too busy, according to reports. but Staples Center and Dodgers Stadium have been open for the past few days to allow voting.

One of the more interesting — and certainly unique polling locations — is the Magic Castle n Hollywood. Usually a members-only club, the Castle is opening and allowing guests to get a peek inside while they case their ballot.

And while the theme park may not be open for business due to the pandemic, Universal Studios Hollywood CityWalk is an official polling location. Tuesday voting will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Parking is free.

The Pantages Theatre along Hollywood Boulevard is another polling location. Those who visited the location noted that how well it was set up and that their “I voted” sticker had a Hamilton logo.
