Omarosa Manigault has returned to the Celebrity Big Brother house after receiving medical attention, according to the show’s live feed later on Saturday.
She had temporarily left the CBS reality series following an asthma attack, her castmates said on the show’s feed earlier in the day.
In a statement given to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS confirmed the news, saying, “Omarosa has returned to the Celebrity Big Brother house after receiving medical attention last night and today for an asthma attack. This development will be addressed on the Sunday night broadcast.”
The reality star and former director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison at the White House was not visible on the live feed after the second “Head of Household” competition, where the cast was asked to get dizzy and bowl. Big Brother castmates including roommate and television personality Ross Mathews, former Hairspray Broadway star Marissa Jaret Winokur and singer Mark McGrath said that the reason had to do with an asthma attack on Saturday on the show’s live feed.
Mathews and Winokur said that Manigault had been hospitalized, but suggested the health scare was not serious. Manigault’s representatives did not return requests for more information.
Prior to the incident, Manigault, along with ally Keshia Knight Pulliam, were being targeted by their other cast members who planned on taking them out of the competition at the show’s next eviction.
The U.S.’ inaugural season of Celebrity Big Brother premiered Wednesday night on CBS.
